Weekend Results & Upcoming Events

I helped recruit Jennifer Purcell to the team over the last few weeks and unfortunately have created more work for myself!!!!  Three races for THSJ and three podiums, 1st, 3rd, and 1st at Tour of Dairyland.  She won primes, rode away from the field and basically put her mark on the last three races of the series in Wisconsin.  We will see many more results from Jenn in the coming months.

We also had some very exciting results from Nationals this year.  Carlos Vargas, finished 2nd at Elite Crit Nationals, with Josh Carter taking 7th.  Cody and Travis did very well in the U23 competitions as well!

Locally Doug Looney tied up the leaders jersey in the 35+ Catagory for the month of June, and Casey Crosby landed on the podium again!  Adam Rasmus completed the month with a 2nd place finish in the 4/5 crit, securing his first leaders jersey of the season.  Stefan Rothe also won the 1/2/3 race and I finished in 7th.  I also managed my first win of the season riding away from the break for the last 4 laps of the University Oaks Crit in San Antonio.

It is great to see results across the board at all levels of the team.  I believe the Colorado team is leading the series up there, and I know we have a good hold on the TXBRA cup as well in several of the categories.

Locally there are two races being offered this weekend in San Antonio, a circuit race Saturday and the University Oaks Crit Sunday.
